DO YOU HAVE EMPLOYEES WORKING OUTSIDE IN NC, SC, TN, OR GA?

By now you know about the air quality today coming from the wildfire smoke from the NC Mountains, and its potential impact on employees working outside. I suggest following EPA recommendations and to continue monitoring the situation. For now, you may wish to implement the following modifications for outside work tasks.

1. Workers should avoid activities where visibility is limited because of smoke. 2. Any worker who complains of difficulty breathing should be allowed inside work if it's available, or given the option to go home. 3. Workers with asthma or other respiratory problems should seek the advice of their physician and stay home. 4. Workers should have access to lots of water to stay hydrated.
